Most of the really good products of 40 or more years ago have dissappeared and there is no equivalent product available to rplace them. It was very good to find that this fine old product was still available somewhere. Try it--- you'll really like it!

I've used this product off and on for a few years now and really like. It provides manageable hold with no crunch and leaves my hair feeling soft and smelling good. The oil in this product works well to make my hair shiny but is not overly greasy or messy. I find the scent pleasant.
To me this product seems more suitable for folks with manageable hair as it will not really style your hair into extreme shapes or styles.
This is a great product for folks that have dry frizzy hair. It provides nice moisture to the hair and is easily washed out.
Highly recommended.

Vitalis, Hair Tonic Liquid With V7 provides manageable hold. My hair feels soft and smells good. The oil in this product works well and makes my hair shiny, and "young looking." It provides nice moisture to the hair and is easily washed out. This Vitalis is far superior to any of the modern hair care items. I highly recommend it.

I bought my first bottle of Vitalis while on vacation in Hawaii because my normal gel hadn't made it through security. After trying it the next day coming out of the shower, i was quite impressed with the results.
Vitalis (if done while your hair is wet), produces a non-greasy effect on your hair that will encourage it to lay down and be manageable, as well as give it a nice shine and a thicker look. A little also goes a long way, and one bottle will last many months of use.
If you wait too long, your hair will be too dry for the solution to combine with your hair and you'll have a very slight feel of greasiness. This is the only downside I've ever found with this.
This is the only product i use in my hair now. And for someone who as a kid had the poofy chia pet look anytime my hair is under 3 inches long, it works great. It even defeats my dennis the mennis calloc.
