Which is why I'm so unhappy that it's been discontinued! It's a purple mousse that smells like grape soda. Squirt it on, work it in, wait 20 mins and you have purple hair. It's soft and very shiny.
My hair is dark blonde with a lot of gray. I color regularly so my hair is porous-for me the color is intense but mellows over time as you wash it. After a few shampoos the color turns more burgundy as the blue fades. The red stays until I color again. If I want to return to a more natural color I either go a little darker/browner or use Natural Instincts "No Brass" Dark Blonde which works well.
I like the look, I like the way the color changes and the way it feels.

So, it is a fun color. And it does color grey. And it does wash out in about 10 washes. However, it really should be called raspberry, not plum. As long as you don't expect a plum color I would recommend it.
