Not Your Grandmother's Cream Deodorant Feb 20, 2009

Light, creamy, delicately scented, quick drying, this deodorant is feminine without being overtly girly, and very effective year 'round. It is also extremely cost-effective, especially since you can control the amount you use and can see how much product you have left every time you use it. The shallow jar is the same size as the box, and the lid is as large as the jar, making it easy to access all of the creamy product with your fingertips, without getting it under your nails. I have used this product over 20 years, and keep coming back to it after trying newer products (trial sizes for my gym bag, being drawn in by advertising). Arrid Extra Dry Cream doesn't sting after shaving, isn't sticky and does not leave stains on clothes (they ALL will during humid summers, so that doesn't count). A little dab under each arm, even in the crotch area, let it dry about :20 seconds, and you're set for the day. The delicate scent will not compete with even the lightest cologne (and men have complimented how I smell even when I am wearing no cologne--it's just soft and fresh). Highly recommended. My husband loves this stuff - but it's hard to find. Got it here cheaper - even with the shipping.

I prefer to travel light. These are GREAT for that. light weight, take up very little space (way less than a stick or spray can). They are also great to go in your everyday-pack for those times that you need a little extra deodorant or are in a morning rush and completely forget to put some on! These are also great in a hygiene kit for campers/hikers looking to cut back on weight/bulk but not on hygiene!

Great stuff. The only issue I have with it is sometimes I want a bit more scent. But for every other time its great.

I bought this for my Aunt who is 94 years young. This is her favorite deodorant and we are unable to find it locally. She has been very pleased with it for many years. She feels she has more control putting it on.
