Great self tanner Jun 27, 2008
By Tobe
Use this lotion as a self tanner with excellent results. For one, it doesn't have that extreme smell that other self tanning lotions have. This lotion smells a bit like Grapefruit - very fresh and smooth. Second, the lotion itself firms the skin on my legs and makes them look younger. The tan is mild, like the label says, just sun kissed. So for a real deep tan color, this product won't do it. But it will create a nice natural looking tone while leaving your skin looking young and refreshed. Nivea is a great product line all around - I use it for all my skin needs and after years of using it, it sure shows!

Great for a sun-kissed look! Jun 13, 2011
By A. Kennedy I am fair and don't tan well. Due to my beautiful pink undertones, going bare legged isn't an option without some kind of color. I have tried MANY self-tanners with no success due to streaking, turning a lovely shade of orange, and in some instances, both! Gradual tanners have been a godsend for me. While I like Jergen's, I think Nivea has a much better scent and doesn't seem to leave as strong of a self-tanner "after-scent" as Jergen's. I also think that this lotion has a better viscosity. No, it isn't as thick as Jergen's, but at the same time, you don't have to use as much. Additionally, in my opinion, Nivea does a better job moisturizing than Jergen's. This lotion gives me just enough color. No, I don't look like I just came back from the Caribbean, but I do have a nice color. Finally, you really can't beat Amazon's price on this- especially if you're a prime member!

Wonderful Aug 02, 2008
By Hexanna I love this product, it moisturizes, the color looks natural, and the tanning agent doesn't smell that bad.

Great product Apr 10, 2009
By Francesca I used this Nivea product all of last year. It's a very good moisterizer, not greasy and gets absorbed into the skin a few minutes after application. The light tan it achieved looked very natural. I found it made my legs look smoother. Excellent product!

Smells HORRIBLE May 31, 2010

"Pretty In Ink"
I don't know how anyone would like this stuff. For one, the smell is so bad my husband noticed. Sure it leaves OK color which is why I'm giving a 2 star but it's very runny and smelly. 2 things you DONT want in self tanners.
I tan in a tanning bed and use self tanner in between so I don't have to use the bed as often but this stuff I will throw away and get L'Oreal instead!
