This definitely reduced the shaving rash bumps by about 60% to what I usually get with shaving gel. The fact its clear is really helpful so you can be more cautious and see where you are shaving. (I purchased a companion shaving rash gel which got it to about 85%) as companion products.

Bikini Zone Anti-Bumps Shave Gel Jun 13, 2011
By phil First off, I purchased this at target not from amazon. It was on sale for under $3 :) and I've found it for the same sale price a couple times. The initial purchase I goofed and thought I was bringing home the after shave gel (that'll teach me to read the label) but it was a great goof.
I have very sensitive skin and pretty thick dark hair and the roots are usually visable after I shave. Before this product I would do almost a complete shave job on my bikini area but would always have to leave the center alone without fear of worse razor burn and bumps, and the area shaved would sometimes be irritated. After discovering that I had in fact bought the shave gel I thought what the hell and attempted a full shave.
[ I use a shick hydro 5 if you were wondering, so far I've had no luck with womens razors even though they are supposedly made for us, if any one has any good experiences with any let me know because im always looking for something better, havent tried venus yet. Another mens razor the works well for the bikini area is the gillete fusion proglide power, my mom swears by it ]
The gel itself is pretty runny so when squeezing out I'd recommend holding the bottle upside down (so the opening is upwards) and dispensing it slowly to get a feel for how much you will need. The first time I wasted a bit when it fell on the shower floor. After you have enough in your hand rub it in, alot, it will condition your skin and make the hair softer. Once you have it on your skin you'll notice it's clear, not really great for seeing where you've shaved already. You may want to use a shaving cream on top, which is what I've started to do to use as a guide. It may help to furthur prevent shave bumps and rash also, at least it has for me. Be sure to clean your razor after every shave to make sure the gel (and/or cream) does not clog it up. I also clean my razor off with alcohol after Im done.
You may not notice an improvement in bumps and rash right away, but make sure to treat them and moisturize often, and try shaving at night so you can let the area breath for 30 minutes before putting on your undies. I have been working diligently for a few weeks and it takes time but it's definatly worth it. Also try experimenting with after shave gels/sprays ect. I've tried many that work and many that don't do anything, if you want to start simple try neosporine for the bumps or ingrown hairs. And a trick that has worked for me if you have stubborn hairs that shaving always leaves behind, tweeze them. It's cut my shaving time in half and prevents rash from repetitive shaving over the same area.
Try using this gel to shave your legs, underarms, whatever. I got a closer shave than I ever remember getting (even my boyfriend noticed how smoooooth they were :)and it lasted for twice as long as usual. I normally shave every other day to keep my legs as smooth as possible but when I used this gel my legs were smooth for 4 days! Gosh it's wonderful to not have to spend every day getting rid of unwanted body hair.

By eljax Love the product works great for my sensitive skin. Just not in love with the mess the printing on the bottle makes when it washes off.

This is definitely something you should get if all the other gels and cremes make you itchy or leave red bumps - its simply the cheapest way to take care of your most sensitive skin!
