I used to use hair spray when curling my hair with hot rollers. I now use this product instead and my curls are longer lasting, less heavy and my hair is shiny. I highly recommend it.

I love this product. I have fine, straight hair which I get permed. To soften the curls of the perm I set it on heat rollers. My hair will burn (melt, singe etc.) if I use any metal products such as curling irons. This works great if I brush out my clean, dry hair, add leave in conditioner and then spray a small (very small--5 sprays) on the top. It keeps the curls defined and neat, without looking too tight. I think the other reviewer may have used too much and this left her hair looking limp. I also think this product will work better for people with fine, difficult to curl hair. I did not notice a strong, lingering fragrance and I am very sensitive to fragrances. Again, this must have been due to using a large quantity of the spray. I highly recommend this for anyone with hard to curl and flyaway fine hair.

I am rating this so low because it didn't do anything for me at all.
I have naturally wavy/slightly curly hair that loves to curl. Iron, hot rollers, velcro rollers on damp hair, anything at all. Often times I don't even use a hairspray/gel/mousse, but the curls will last most of the day.
This product kept my hair from staying. Whether it protected my hair from heat I have no way to ever know. My curls from hot rollers were gorgous as I left for work, but by the time I parked my truck 60 minutes later my hair was limp with barely a hint that there were ever curls.
On top of this lack of performance I had a headache for most of the day due to the very stong fragrance in this product. It simply would not fade!
DO NOT buy this. The only up side is that I got it for $1.50 at the corner drugstore clearance bin.

This is the best curling spray I've used. My hair is not very curly, so I need a good product to keep the curles formed all the time. Also I try not to wash my hair very often in order not to make it get "oily" too easily, so my product should keep my hair in a good shape with days. I am not sure how it will work if the humidity of your place is too high though, because once your hair flattens down from the humidity the spray still fixes it that way, so it doesn't work very good with that kind of weather. But besides this it is great. I'm buying more of it for sure. It also was well packed and arrived much earlier than expected.
