I'm in my late 40's, but I've developed "old lady nails". They have vertical ridges, and they look slightly discolored. Not attractive! I've done the buffing routine, but that seems to thin them out too much. I've bought ridge fillers, nail whiteners. etc., etc. Nothing worked. What to do? Neutrogena Nail Enhancer is my answer. It makes my nails look smoother and cleaner. It's fast, it's easy and most impressive, my nails look normal again. I use it every day. It takes less then a minute and it makes a world of difference.

I'm the second person to write a review for this and when I read the first reviewer's response, I couldn't believe it! I ALSO use the exact same Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream and this Neutrogena Instant Nail Enhancer.
Fun!
I find that if I can apply the cuticle cream once or twice a day, and then use this Neutrogena enhancer once a day or once every other day, I don't have to go get a manicure on my natural nails.
I also take a vitamin for skin & hair (& nails) with biotin but I could tell a difference after using these products. My nails are way stronger and not as fraile - they don't break as easily!
You don't have to have a steady hand, nor does this product put off a nail polish smell. It also comes off on its own so you don't need nail polish remover either! You'll notice if you skip a day or two that it's peeling off. You can scrape the rest of it off or you can just apply another coat.
It's SO easy!! It gives your nails a nice shine but not an extreme shine as a regular polish does. I think it's perfect!

I don't want to spend a lot of time on nail care, but do want my hands to look healthy and well kempt. This stuff really does the job.
It goes on in seconds and doesn't require skill or even a steady hand. It dries in seconds leaving a subtle, healthy, clean-looking sheen, with no brush strokes or irregularities. My nails look natural, but better, almost as if imperfections have been airbrushed away.
The directions are to apply one coat daily, but when I first tried it, I got carried away and applied several coats. That caused it to be easily scratched off and to peel. I removed it all and started over with just one coat and found it wears perfectly. So follow the directions and use just one coat every day or so.
I use this and Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream, another product that really works, and my hands look better than they have in memory.
