 Hooked in one application! Dec 28, 2006
I found this product yesterday and used it and was instantly hooked. Not only did my nails look and feel natural (I got the buffed sheen), they also felt instantly strong, without smell or smudges. This is the best product I've found in 2006.

I'm a nail-biter, and have always looked for something that would deter me. Neutrogena's Instant Nail Enhancer isn't designed to deter, but after applying the product once a day, it's amazing to see just how quickly your nails grow! It's easy to apply (under a minute) -- you just brush one coat onto each nail -- and it dries within 10 seconds. The applicator is easy to tuck away anywhere, too (not as clumsy or heavy as a nail polish bottle). And as for the chipping and clouding mentioned in other reviews, it's not an issue for me. The product gives a nice understated sheen, and I barely notice any peeling or chips at all. I'm hooked!

This is like chapstick for your nails... only good can come of it. This stuff makes my bare nails look shiny and healthy. Also I can apply it in under a minute and it dries just as fast.

This is easy to use and does not smell like polish (also dries fast), but it does get sort of cloudy looking on your nails and chips off unattractively.

I have been using this product for about three weeks, and I've noticed a decrease in breaking. I have very soft nails, that usually spit or tear before growing past the fingertip. Since I've been using this product, that has not happened. I still have some peeling, but I'm hoping that will go away with continued use.
Warning: This is a strenghther and is NOT designed for those who like to wear pretty polish every day. I recommend using the clear, "buffed sheen" color. That way, you don't have to deal with the peeling that occurs with the colored, ("pearl sheen")product.
