I needed markers for Marine Corps OCS and these seem to fit the bill. They are permanent and don't wash out easily. Pretty much what you'd expect!

We use this product to label socks in our home. This simplifies sorting the laundry. We have had no issues with this product.

This is a better merker than Snaborn's Sharpie - the tip is finer and firmer. The pen marks almost anything. I've used it for file folders, clothing, glass, most kinds of plastics, and leather. The lettering stays crisp; some papers will let the ink travel, bleed.

The ink lasts a long time on laundry, even when bleached. Even better, it doesn't smear or blur on the cloth when washed.
