Bought as extra Jul 29, 2010 I clench my teeth and this helps to relieve the pressure when I sleep. Good product for the price. The small works better for me.

Good brand but this one is not for small mouths! Jul 01, 2010 I've been wearing The Doctor's Night Guard brand for a couple of years now and have found that it fits better than any other night guard I've tried. This one in particular, however, is not for people with small mouths! It's really bulky - so much so that I can't even close my mouth all of the way, which means it gets really dry in the night. I think it's the "classic" version that is bulky - if you've got a smaller mouth, definitely go with the "advanced comfort" version, as it is thinner and much more comfortable. Although this one didn't work out for me, in general, I think the Doctor's Night Guard molds really well and is a great way to reduce nighttime teeth grinding. It takes a little getting used to at first, but I'm actually uncomfortable without a night guard after adjusting to it.
the bulk actually helps Jun 15, 2010 This is a bulky mouth guard, and I also had to boil it a couple times before I could get the fit right. Turns out it does fit kind of funny--it's bulky and feels odd in the mouth at first. But the bulk helps cushion the mouth for the grinding/clenching at night. This is the best guard I've tried and you can't beat the price. The company does have a refund or replacement process if you can't get the fit right.
And to address someone else's comment: I think all mouth guards are on the top teeth only. They are meant to "lock" onto the top teeth (so they don't slide around every time you open your mouth), but they still protect the lower teeth when your mouth is closed. When you are molding this to your teeth after boiling, you chomp down with your upper and lower teeth, so the guard is molded to both.

Uncomfortable to wear Feb 24, 2010 My previous Mouth Guard had worn out and I had it made by a dentist. I have been using it for 2 years and had no problem with it. Very comfortable and well fit. This time I decided to try out the boil and wear Doctor's Night Guard. I mold the Night Guard to my lower teeth following the molding instruction in the package. Since there's no instruction whether it should be used to lower or upper teeth, I assumed that it was designed to both upper and lower. I have been using it for 2 weeks now and had problem sleeping because it's not comfortable to wear. The front part stick out from my teeth which makes my mouth looks like its swelling. And my jaw got a little pain when I wake up in the morning. It's really not comfortable to wear. Maybe this Mouth Guard was designed for upper teeth only. Because the photo instruction shows upper teeth.
Night Guard Classic Feb 19, 2010 I bought 3 of the Night Guards and gave one to my adult daughter. We both love it and are very satisfied with this product.
