Great Heavy Duty Cleaner Jun 04, 2010 My wife just loves this cleaner. This is the only product that cleans all our bathroom fixtures. Would reccommend this product for any hard to clean surfaces.

Those Darn Mynocks May 09, 2010 After searching the galaxy for any chemical to remove the mynock dung from the falcon. I stumbled into a can of Zud cleaner while having a drink at the Cantina on the planet Tattoine. The Bartender who initially tried to sell me death sticks, highly recommended using zud. He explained how he had stumbled upon using it for cleaning his bongs! These were heavily soiled with resin from the leafy longbottom he enjoyed from both endor and middle earth. I realized this cleaner could be extremely effective for taking the mynock dung off the falcon, the greatest starship in the galaxy! i made the kessel run with her in less than 12 parsecs! use Zud Cleaner. It works!
Sincerely,
Darth Lichtus
Highly effective, non-caustic, easy to use- Get those sinks white again with a little sprinkle! Apr 10, 2010 We have well water, which means rust is an ever present problem on porcelain sinks, toilets, bath, etc.
So, I have researched quite a few products. This one works well.
Pumice works well on those brown stains on sink, but it is very laborious and time consuming. This Zud is simply terrific. I use it with just a little sprinkle (make sink wet first) and wipe it up with a well-worn Magic Eraser. Problem gone almost immediately.
Haven't tried it on a toilet yet-wonder how it will work if diluted. I'll update at some point & let you know.
Such a great, non-corrosive, non-caustic low tech solution. A lot of other rust removal products require gloves, protective clothing & goggles.I confess, I used it quickly without gloves-no problem-but I watered the sink down well & rinsed my hands very well immediately afterward. Did not use Goggles nor protective clothing.
I paid $5.99 to get it all the way to Alaska. It arrived quickly. I think this is a good price as a little goes a long way, it stores easily, & it does a great job in no time!
Update: I used it on the ceramic toilet bowl. Mind you, the rust stain by this point was very light (I had removed a lot of the rust stain with a pumice stone-cleared it, no scratching). I did two applications of a little bit of Zud powder. When it hit the water, it started fizzing lightly. I used just the standard toilet brush, no heavy scrubbing. No gloves, no goggles.
It worked well-and quickly. I prefer things that get the job done in less than 2-5 minutes. This fits that bill.
Update: This stuff is miraculous, not harsh, effective, and also cost effective! We had a rust problem because we ran out of those rust water softener pellets & with our well water here in Alaska-a bath tub was pitifully orange & dingy.
Well, the ceramic tub is sparkling white again, the grout clean (original color again). I got the surface wet, sprinkled some on-maybe liberally where it was really bad, wore some thin plastic gloves, a little bit of elbow grease (not too much) & presto!
BTW (By The Way)-there's still plenty of stuff in the container for the next bad job. I'm convinced!
Zud Nov 27, 2009 The product is great. It removes stains and dirt that most other cleaners don't. I've used it for years. It is particularly good at removing rust. I wasn't thrilled with the company that sent it, however. It did not arrive when it was supposed to.
Zud Cleaner Sep 22, 2009 Product is or has been discontinued, we love it for cleaning cast iron sinks.
Was glad to be able to purchase before it becomes unavailable.
Vendor shipped safely and timely
